Is Paranormal Activity True ?

Paranormal Activity is a horror film that depicts the story of a young couple, who are troubled by a supernatural being, which scares the daylights out of them, in the middle of the night, as soon as they move in to a new house in the suburbs.

The tag line of the film “What happens when you sleep?” is very suitable. Ghosts; aliens, who come to abduct humans and other mysterious beings are mostly experienced at home, at night. There is a psychological explanation to these phenomena that mostly happen at nights. We are bound to be very tired and feel drowsy and sleepy by the time we go to bed at night. Taking some kind of medicines and even fatigue are capable of creating mild hallucinations, which the psychologists term as walking dreams and hypnagogic experiences. They are said to be common and harmless, but are potential of impairing our perceptions and making up experiences which never happened.

For example, a man from Buffalo, N.Y, tells us that his bed was kicked by a ghost when he was asleep. Since he had no other explanation for this, he assumed and started believing that his bed was kicked by a ghost. Investigations revealed that the “kick by the ghost” was in fact, his own leg twitching when he was entering the first stages in his sleep. He was not aware of it at all and when he was woken up by the spasm in his leg and he inferred the jerk as his bed being kicked.

The authenticity or the fakeness of the paranormal activities seem to be in question unless science does not grow enough to offer explanations of strange things that happen all over the world.
