Mental health is a state of emotional and physical well being of the mind. A person with good mental health will be able to use his emotional intelligence, physical intelligence, and cognitive abilities completely.
The person can do everything in order to meet the daily demands of life, and he or she is not dependant on anybody for it.Mental health can be used to describe any condition related to the brain. The brain is the most complicated organ of the body as it controls every single nerve, cell and part of the body.
There are so many functionalities and processes that go on in the brain that it are very difficult to tell what went wrong. That is why the term mental health is used generally. For example, if a person is feeling sad temporarily, he or she is not in the right mental health. Feeling sad may be an emotional problem, but it is still caused due to the reactions in the brain. Similarly, if a person has difficulty with the cognitive skills, then they are still described as having problems with their mental health. Cognitive skills are related to the brain. Whether the problem is severe or mild, mental health encompasses everything.
The neurological science has achieved only 40 percent understanding of the brain’s capabilities and capacity. No one knows why some processes take place in the body or how they occur. Also, for most of the serious mental problems, there are no cures. These problems can just be controlled through medication. Simple problems like stress and depression that occur due to emotional reasons can be cured. However, problems related to cognitive abilities are seldom treated.
