Psychologists have always been extremely interested about the impact of parenting on the overall development of a child. Though a clear finding and evidence regarding some of the causes and effects as well as their connections with each other is something that is hard to be claimed, there several effects that can be viewed externally are really very clear.
Children are highly affected by the way they are brought up as well as the surroundings that they are brought up in. All such things are involved within parenting and the habits that one develops are mainly a part of their parenting which is one of the most important things that differentiates all such children. Parenting is the overall process of brining up a child and incorporating the values, discipline and right lifestyle accordingly.
As far as the parenting styles are considered, they may vary on individual basis as every parent ahs its won way of brining up their kids. One would never follow the steps that other follow till the time they themselves are not fully convinced. There are generally four parenting styles which include the authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting, authoritative parenting and uninvolved parenting. As the names suggests, they can be made out in terms of their implementation styles. But as a whole, parenting plans differ in terms of the things like disciplinary strategies, communication styles, warmth and nurturance, expectations, and maturity of control.
Parents throughout the world adopt any one of the above mentioned parenting styles while some may incorporate more than one of them and combine their features suitable as per the circumstances.
