Factors Contributing To C Section Rates

C section is a surgery performed to deliver the baby through a surgery instead of a normal vaginal birth. Medically, a C section has to be performed only when the mother is incapable of delivering the baby due to various health reasons or unavoidable reasons. Typically, this should be the case. However, of late, experts believe that a lot of women are being put through C section even when there are no medical reasons that are prevalent.

One of the reasons is because the doctors are extremely busy so that would like top fix up dates for their patients to deliver instead of having them deliver when the time is actually due. The doctors have the technical knowledge to determine when it is safe to deliver the baby. Also, this drives up the insurance coverage costs and also the doctors end up making more money out of a Cesarean section than a normal delivery. These are some of the factors contributing to a C section due to corruption in the medical system.

However there are some factors contributing from the physical health of women themselves. One of them is obesity in pregnant woman. Even though a woman may not have been pregnant in the beginning, she might have gained excessive weight during pregnancy. This can lead to a C section delivery actually. Diabetes and other health conditions can also cause C section deliveries for the woman actually. If there is a problem with blood clotting or, for instance, low weight gain, then C section could get problematic.
