Childbirth And Water Breaking

Every pregnant woman looks forward for one moment in her life and that is the birth of her child. However, for a first time pregnant woman, it is all the, more exciting and at the same times an overwhelming process too. Even though science gives us a basic timeline of when the baby would be born, there is no guarantee that a doctor can give as to when exactly the child will be born.

However, as a woman there are some signs that nature provides with us to let us to know that when the child will be born. One such sign is the breaking of water. When the water breaks, it means that the child will be born within a matter of few hours.

However, even for a first time mother the breaking of water may not be a significant process. Towards the final semester the doctor will recommend frequent check up. At that time she will know if you are dilated enough in the case of a natural birth. In case of a C section surgery, also the water may break but then because the baby is not in the right position for a natural birth the doctor may choose to perform a surgery. However, it is when the child is ready to come out of the mother’s womb, it starts the journey down the birth canal. The stoppage breaks and the first thing to flow out will be the water in which the baby had been for months. A to-be-mother can feel a gush of water rushing out of the vagina and it is unintentional. It is a big sign of the water breaking.
