Childbirth is a complicated process if you look at physiologically because there are so many medical terms involved. However, if you look at it as a natural process, then the baby is born after nine months or a few more days beyond that.
There are two ways in which a baby is born, one is through a surgery commonly called the cesarean surgery and the other is through normal vaginal birth. These days, in very few cases, when it is seen that babies are pushing themselves towards natural birth, then the mother is rushed to the hospital just in time for child birth. This is only shown in movies. Most of the childbirths that happen today are due to surgeries and forced labor pains. Women who are capable of delivering babies through normal delivery are forced into labor by inducing fluids through IV.
In a natural childbirth, the baby is delivered through the vagina of the woman. The baby pushes itself forward and shows the head in the edge of the vagina. That is when the doctors pull out the baby using forceps or the hand. A childbirth in reality looks like a horror movie. There is a lot of blood and gore, but at the end of it all there is life and a baby crying. That is what makes it a special experience.
In a normal childbirth, the women are not given any kind of anesthesia and they go through a lot of pain. Whereas, in a surgical form of childbirth women do not feel much pain and the child is born effortlessly. Either of the methods of delivery is not easy for any woman to go through.
