Today, there are several kinds of alternative medicine statistics and a lot of information available on them on the Internet. Taking statistics always help in finding cure and medicines.
Because of these statistics we can say that people who have been through alternative therapies and medicines have actually recovered form serious illnesses without the need for conventional medicine.
There are also several colleges and institutions which are encouraging the study of alternative medicines and therapy and are also offering courses in them. Alternative medicines are also safer options as they bear no side effects. They also work more towards curing the problem from the root rather than providing immediate relief. However, it should be understood that these alternative medicines should not replace or be used as substitutes for conventional medicines. Instead alternative complementary medicine should be injunction with conventional medicine. At least that is what alternative complementary statistics show.
Some of the health problems do need regular medicines because only they can provide relief immediately. For example, if a person needs a heart surgery immediately, they have to approach the hospital for a conventional method of treatment and cannot depend on alternative medicine at that point of time. If they do that, they will die because of the severity of the problem.
Alternative medicine statistics are not meant to compare the conventional and alternate therapies or medicines but to see how many people actually use these kinds of therapies and how have they benefited. Also by using statistics we can know what kind of cure is available and how it can be used along with the conventional medicines.
