  1. AIDS -- Symptoms include uncontrolled fever, frequent headaches, unreasonable fatigue that remains persistent, swollen lymph glands, rashes, night sweats, chills, chronic diarrhea and recurring infections that do nott get cured easily.
  1. Syphilis -- Symptoms include development of a single, round, painless, open sore on the penis, vagina or on the nearby area that heals itself in 3-8 weeks. Approximately 10 weeks after the sore has healed, the person develops flu-like symptoms along with rashes on the skin. Warts appear in and around the genitals and peri-anal areas. Tertiary syphilis results in serious health complications including blindness, insanity, paralysis, convulsions, joint pains and cardiac stroke.
  1. Gonorrhea -- Abnormal vaginal discharge, pain during urination, arthritis, rashes, penile discharge, itching, sore throat and sores on different parts of the body including hands, back, legs and shoulders.
  1. Chancroid -- Symptoms include painful open sores on the genitals, inflammation in the lymph nodes, painful urination, rectal bleeding and vaginal discharge.

  1. Trichomoniasis -- Foul smelling vaginal discharge in women associated with itching, swelling and pain during intercourse and urination. In men, Trichomoniasis infection is primarily asymptomatic, though occasionally some might experience pain while urinating.
