Magnesium is an important nutrient that our body requires it on daily basis as it could be stored up in the body like other nutrients. Hence, it must be supplied to the body in the form of food or as a magnesium supplement in the form of tablet. Majority of the magnesium is present in the bones, some in the muscles, organs, body tissue. It is also present in the blood circulation.

It is also forms complexes with the chlorophyll which is the pigment that gives green color to the leaves. The low level of magnesium can also lead to constipation, difficulty in swallowing, menstrual cramps, photophobia, breast tenderness, restlessness, panic attack and hyperactivity. Individuals, who suffer from low magnesium level, tend to eat more chocolates. At the same time, high levels of magnesium in the body often lead to diarrhea.
