A person’s body weight has a lot to do with the kind of food he eats and also life style to a certain extent. Obese people often have problems with bad food habits and consumption of junk food.

People who are clearly overweight can try the low calorie diet and benefit. However, the amount of calorie intake should be reduced gradually and it should not be done all of a sudden.

Moderate calorie intake is a type of diet for which the calorie value may be 1200 to 1500 calories for an entire day. Each meal will not consist of more than 500 calories. Though that may sound very low to you, in 500 calories a person can actually eat a wholesome meal.
