Everyone who is planning the course of actions after their death wants everything to go right because they are not going to oversee the things and deeds to make sure that they are done in the way they wanted it to be. That is unfortunate thing about funerals because the persons whose wishes they were actually cannot monitor them personally. Most people leave a will behind specifying how they want their funeral to be performed. However, no matter how strong a will they leave, in the end the actions that need to be taken should by a responsible person who will conform to your wishes.
If you want to avoid the dreaded wrongful burial, then do what it takes well in advance. First of all, choose a very responsible person from your family or friends to oversee the funeral arrangements. Make sure you include them in every step of the way and let them also learn what your wishes are. Whether it is writing your will or choosing your funeral insurance, make sure this trusted person is involved. Also, leave a statement in the will as to who will be carrying out your last wishes. It is better if the same person is also the executor of the will. Also, when you get a chance, discuss about the funeral arrangements in person and in private so that it is all clearly stated. Like, you may prefer a certain type of casket or flower arrangements and all these have to be carefully executed.
