Politicians And Judges Negative Attitudes About Grandparents

Politicians and judges are people who are subject by law first and then to ethics and reason. These people are robots who can act only as law asks them to however unreasonable it might be. Several laws of the world which have been judicially incorporated in form of a government rule, are insensitive and do not take anything else into consideration like human values for example.

Several laws are detached from human emotions and just believe in being right. These laws only believe in what is accepted publicly and what an individual feels about it is irrelevant. However, when it comes to divorce laws and custody battles such laws apply but not always in a good manner.

It is the law that makes the politicians and the judges negative about grandparents' role in custody battles. When a couple is fighting a divorce, several things come into play like joint finances, ownership and also the children unfortunately. However, the law has to consider a deeper perspective and open up a possibility of rights for the secondary caregiver, who is invariably a grandparent.

Until now the negative attitude of judges and the entire political system has been encountered by innocent victims who are the children and the grandparents. It is victimization because children and grandparents are not responsible for the custody battle and they should not be allowed to pay the price. It should be taken that a grandparent is actually half a parent in most cases because if there is anyone children would be comfortable with, it is the grandparents as they are a part of the family and people who love and care for the children unconditionally.
