Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian actress who has done quite a number of films which have been appreciated by everyone. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall; and was born in Vancouver in 1982. She is also known famously for her role as Lana Lang in Smallville. She took up acting on the insistence of her drama teacher.
Her mother is an Indonesian and Father a Dutch and this combination has really worked wonders for her. She also starred in Snow White when she was just 17. Her career surely took off with Smallville and fans went crazy behind her. But she also chose to focus on her career which she did after she took up more assignments. She is single, although she was linked with many of her co-stars. She prefers acting as a very tough business and thoroughly enjoys all forms of media. She also signed a multi-episode in Chuck and went on to play Hannah, a computer troubleshooter which was again loved by her fans all over the world.
She also starred in the film Dream Princess with writer Kaare Andrews. It was released in the year 2007 and was appreciated by the critics. She also produced a short film called Blink along with her co-star Mark Hildreth. This year she signed a Japanese horror film Vampire which is slated to release early next year. She was not appreciated for her performance in Street fighter: the Legend of Chun-Li. She was also remembered for her role as a Muslim girl in Partition a film dealing with Indo-Pak Partition in 2007. The film had done good business and her chemistry with Jim Mistry was appreciated.
There seems to be a lot of debate over Kristin's marital status. According to some, she is still single, while others contend that she is married to Tom Welling, she co-star from Smallville.
