Family Of Michael Owen
Michael Owen was born on December 14, 1979 in Chester. He was the fourth child of Jeanette and Terry Owen. Owen’s interest towards football was inherited from his father who was a retired professional footballer, having played for Everton and Chester City.
Terry Owen was responsible for introducing his fourth child, Michael, to football as he realized that he was the most talented of the four siblings. His father was proved right as there were many talent scouts who were watching his progress. Michael had indicated that he would like to serve Chester City in some capacity after his retirement, because it was the team that his father was associated with and had played for.
Owen’s family comprises of his wife, Louis Bonsall, and their four children. Michael married his childhood sweetheart, Louise Bonsall on June 24, 2005 at a registry office. The couple owns a Lower Soughton mansion in Flintshire in North Wales, and it is big enough to accommodate Michael Owen’s cars and Louise's horses. Apparently, Michael Owen has bought up an entire street to accommodate his extended family.
The Owen couple has been blessed with four children, three daughters and a son. Their first child, daughter Gemma Rose, was born in 2003 on 1st of May. James Michael, their son, was born in 2006 on 6th of February. They were blessed with a second daughter, Emily May in October 2007. They recently welcomed their third daughter, Jessica who was born in 2010 on 26th of February 2010.
His sister is also married to a professional footballer.
