Family Of Michael Owen

Michael Owen was born on December 14, 1979 in Chester. He was the fourth child of Jeanette and Terry Owen. Owen’s interest towards football was inherited from his father who was a retired professional footballer, having played for Everton and Chester City.

Terry Owen was responsible for introducing his fourth child, Michael, to football as he realized that he was the most talented of the four siblings. His father was proved right as there were many talent scouts who were watching his progress. Michael had indicated that he would like to serve Chester City in some capacity after his retirement, because it was the team that his father was associated with and had played for.

Owen’s family comprises of his wife, Louis Bonsall, and their four children. Michael married his childhood sweetheart, Louise Bonsall on June 24, 2005 at a registry office.
