Michael was introduced to the game early in his childhood by his father, who himself was a professional soccer player, albeit retired. Who Does Michael Owen Play For ?

Michael Owen currently plays for the Red Devils, Manchester United. He has signed a 2 year contract with the club, effective from July 2009. He is also a member of the England football team. However, a hamstring injury sustained during the Carling Cup final, earlier this season kept him out of action for several weeks.
As a result of this injury he was not able to make it to the England squad for the recently concluded 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa, as well. He is recuperating from the injury and has indicated that he would earn a call back to the national team, once he is fully fit.More...
