Steve Jobs Biographical Information
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 and is the CEO of the same. Apple leads first with its award-winning Macintosh computers, OS X operating system, and software for both consumer and professional applications. Steve was also the co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios. The credit of animated films like Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille goes to him. Pixar has won him 20 Academy Awards. In 2006, Pixar and The Walt Disney Co merged. Steve is now one of the board directors of Disney’s.
Steve grew up in the apricot orchards, now known as Silicon Valley, and continues to live there with his family. He was born in 1955 and was an orphan till Clara and Paul Jobs. During his school days he was found to be a reserved kind of a person who had this capacity to look at things from different perspective.
Having attended the lecture course at Hewlett-Packard, he was offered a summer job there, where he met Stephen Woznaik who was a co-employee. After his high school graduation, he got registered at Reed College from where he dropped out. He later opted to take philosophical classes. Jobs’ not a whiz like Woznaik, was much into electronics and hence both of them got together to design Apple I working from Job’s bedroom and garage. They had to let go their Volkswagen microbus and scientific calculator to raise a meager amount of 1,300 $ to start with their dream project.
