• Hamilton’s life started in Nevis. He was an illegal child to his parents and thus was denied education at his desired schools and colleges but he managed to complete his education with flying colors.
• Hamilton was quite inclined towards writing and he had started writing political pieces just before the Revolutionary War.
• Hamilton became a part of the Continental Army in the year 1775 where he got the post of a lieutenant and eventually got promoted to several other higher ranks. He was finally appointed as the Washington’s Chief of Staff.
• He left the Washington staff in the year 1781, but performed brilliantly in Yorktown’s fields.
• Hamilton's marriage to Elizabeth Schuyler made him pretty famous among the people in New York as she was the daughter of a very influential person.
• He was appointed as the secretary of Treasury in the United States in 1789 and continued till 1795.
• He was a brilliant lawyer as well as banker.
• In the year 1804, Hamilton dissatisfied Burr as always and the later accused Hamilton of calling him dangerous. They two met after this incident and Hamilton was shot dead.
