Mentioned below are some tips to choose the right padded underwire nursing bras:

- In order to have right bra during nursing, make sure that the flaps of the bra open easily. This should be possible even with one hand. In addition, after you finish nursing, you should be able to refasten the flaps equally easily.

- The bra should give your breasts the necessary support and this support should be all the way from the ribcage. Even if you are nursing the baby, the correct bra should be able to support the breasts.

- Choose padded underwire nursing bras that are comfortable to wear. If the bra is too tight, your milk ducts can get plugged. You should wear a bra that is comfortable and does not restrict the flow of milk from the breasts.

- The fabric should be a breathable and this means selecting bras that are made from hundred percent cotton. Synthetic fabric has a tendency of trapping the moisture next to the nipple and this can lead to the growth of bacteria and sores. You should never choose a nursing bra that has plastic lining.
