  • In order to change the size of the icons on your desktop, just select the icon, hold the Ctrl button and use your mouse to scroll down. This will immediately increase the size. You can use the same trick to increase the font size.

  • Vista has a magnifier that makes it easy for you to see the screen without straining your eyes. This enables you to see all the recent upgrades that you have installed on your computer.
  • You can change the audio notifications in Vista to visual ones. This can be done very easily by going to Start and typing Ease in the search box. Once you press enter, you will reach the Ease of Access Control command. From this select Use Text or Visual Alternatives for Sounds and then place a tick mark on the Turn Visual Notifications for Sounds. Thereafter, select the option Choose Visual Warning and then press Save to save your selection.
