Recently, one of my friends dreamt about falling teeth. In real life, her teeth were perfectly alright. She wondered what falling teeth in a dream actually signified. After analyzing certain facts, she came to the following conclusion.

As we transcend from one phase of life to another, there is always an associated fear of growing becoming old and incapable and finally following prey to the inevitable death. Remember the time when we lost our temporary milk teeth, was it not the same phase of life when we lost our values of innocence as well? Loosing or falling teeth represents a kind of feeling that illustrates insecurity and uncertainty. In circumstances such as being ill and suffering from a disease, approaching a milestone birthday, being worried about illness or death of someone dear; you are sure to dream about falling teeth. Dreamers have reported quite often about falling of one tooth and then in succession the fall of the others. This signifies a feeling of powerlessness exhibiting a situation that you are not able to alter or stop. Fear of change distresses each one of us. This fear at times is mirrored in dreams as falling of teeth

Dreams about falling teeth have one more aspect. In real life, when we loose our teeth we tend to hide our mouth out of embarrassment. A dream interpretation of the same would probably indicate us trying to cover up an embarrassing moment or an event from others. This embarrassment could also be an outcome of an anticipatory failure. Accidents and poor nutrition are two other reasons of falling teeth in reality. Therefore, when somebody sees such a dream, it probably implies improper nourishment or abandonment.
