Then add some one-fourth cup of water and cover it with a lid. Microwave it for about 4-5 minutes. If you wish to further roast it, preheat the oven to 450 degrees and then put asparagus on a baking sheet and sprinkle one tablespoon of olive oil. Roast the asparagus for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
