Typhoid is a condition and disease related to the bowels. The fever caused by typhoid is for an indefinite time and also it is a highly infectious disease. The symptoms of typhoid are usually severe. The infected person feels weak and also has shivers. They also experience constant fatigue and tiredness.

The best cure for typhoid is complete bed rest. The more a person rests, the better they get. The patient is also given a diet of juices like orange juice and barley water. Vitamin C promotes the body’s immune system, and that is why orange juice is prescribed for the patient. Also, the patient will need to have a warm water enema on a regular basis. If the fever is increasing rapidly, they will have to use a cold towel to cool the body down in order to control the temperature.
