Best Time Of The Day To Take Lisinopril

When people are taking Lisinopril, they want to know what is the best time of the day to take medication. Usually, this medication is available in the form of a tablet and it is generally taken just once a day. It can be taken at any time of the day as long as the person takes the medication at the same time every single day to ensure that the correct dosage of the medication is present in the blood. There is sufficient scientific evidence to show that this medication can result in birth defects and abnormalities. Also, when taking Lisinopril, a person should avoid consuming alcohol and coupled with the medication there the blood pressure can fall still further and the person may experience side effects of the medication. The person should refrain from taking salt substitutes and potassium supplements when taking Lisinopril. (See Reference 2)
