Seroquel is an anti-psychotic medication which becomes complete effective after three to four weeks. Every medication is effective within two hours of taking it. A drug like Seroquel is a potent medication which dissolves very quickly in the first days of treatment.

Typically all medications work by building up residue in the blood. For anti-psychotic medications to be effective it needs to be present in the blood at all times. It can be only control the symptoms and treat the condition when it is present in the blood stream at all times. Seroquel is also known to cause hazy vision. This can be particularly unsafe while driving and working with machines. It is important to keep a check on the side effects when it is completely effective.
