| Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that can be simply defined as a malignancy in the mesothelium. Mesothelium is the protective tissue that is present as a lining on the outer surface of vital internal organs of the body including lungs, heart and abdomen. |
There are three major types of Mesothelioma including epithelioid type, sarcomatoid type and mixed or biphasic type.
