  • The Department of Justice undertaken many operations to investigate and prosecute perpetrators of telemarketing fraud. Some of the operations are Operation Disconnect, Operation Upload and Operation Senior Sentinel.
  • The FBI has lent support and resources to help numerous organizations like the American Association of Retired Persons to conduct awareness programs to warn seniors whose names are present on mooch lists that were confiscated during various investigations.
  • The Administration on Aging was established for seniors to offer information, assistance and awareness based on each person's special circumstances so that they will not become easy victims of telemarketing frauds. The Administration also takes it upon itself to impart information to seniors about the dangers associated with telemarketing fraud.
