Even though transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) do not leave any residual effects, they are detectable by the patient or even by some of the sophisticated medical tests. TIAs or mini strokes can translate into a major stroke. As a result, however, it is extremely critical and important for a person who suffers such an attack to get immediate medical treatment.

Blindness can occur in eyes or even double vision.

So, does anti-CEP prevent mini-strokes? Well, this cannot be confirmed as studies have to prove this fact. At the moment, it is known that CEP or Carboxyethylpyrrole is associated with age-related macular degeneration and anti-CEP may be useful at the moment to reduce the progress of choroidal neovascularization, which is the advanced stage of age-related macular degeneration.
