Tuberculosis Warm And Lung Sensation

Tuberculosis is caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacterium and affects over 3 million people worldwide. The disease usually affects the lungs but it can also affect other organs of the body. The disease is transmitted through air when the infected person coughs or sneezes releasing the bacterium.

Tuberculosis spreads from an infected person to another through close contact and that is why the disease is prevalent among people who live in close proximity and in confined spaces. However, only 10 percent of people infected with the tuberculosis bacterium end up getting the disease.

Usually the symptoms of tuberculosis are taken as common cold or flu, and that is why many infected people do not go straight away to the doctor. Fatigue, cough and fever are common in people suffering from tuberculosis. The disease goes away on its own but in most people it returns if proper antibiotics are not taken.

When tuberculosis affects the lungs or the lining of the lungs, they experience a sharp pain when breathing or coughing. They even cough up blood besides suffering from fever, loss of appetite, weight loss and night sweats. However, it is the burning warm sensation in the lungs that troubles people the most. Often people only go to the doctor when the symptoms become really bad and it is only then that the disease is diagnosed.

If you are suffering from any of the above mentioned symptoms, it is prudent to visit a doctor to get tested for tuberculosis. The doctor will prescribe antibiotics and other medications to treat the disease and give you relief from the coughing and pain.
