Life expectancy of human beings means the number of years a human being is going to live and it is taken on an average basis. The life expectancy for both genders can be different and also depends on varying factors. Also, the expectancy depends on the race and cultural background along with ethnicity. Food and lifestyle habits also have an impact on the life expectancy rate of a person. A normal human being who leads a healthy life can live up to 80 years or more.
There are human beings who have lived up to 100 years and are still alive. However, such cases are rare and difficult to come by. On the other hand, the life expectancy for human beings has become more because of the modern medications and medical science. People who have life threatening conditions also manage to live above 50 including diseases like cancer and AIDS. Such is the marvel of modern medicine. Modern medicine has helped humans achieve a greater life expectancy.
However, to have or meet the average life expectancy of 80 and without any health problems a person has to lead an extremely healthy lifestyle like no bad habits and also should eat healthy. People, who are prone to eating junk food, smoking and drinking, cannot expect to have a normal life expectancy. Again such assumptions also depend on varying factors. There are so many other things like stress and depression that play a role in life expectancy rate and also the genes of the person matters.
