Where Is The Belarus Embassy In The Us ?
The Belarus Embassy is located in the District of Columbia, at the centre of Washington, a few blocks away from the metro station at Dupont Circle (exit at Q Street). The consular section of the Embassy is open between 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM EST between Mondays and Fridays and remains closed on the national holidays of Belarus. Before 800 AD, Belarus (as it is now called), was occupied by the East Slavic inhabitants. After Kiev ruled this region between 9th - 12th centuries, it splintered into various principalities and then became a part of Grand Duchy (Lithuania) during 14th century.
