There are many endangered species in North America and the reason for this is primarily these animals have low reproductive rates, their natural habitats are being destroyed by humans or they are being excessively hunted by poachers and hunters. |
There are many animals that are listed as endangered species in North America but efforts are being made by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to ensure that these animals do not become extinct. In fact, the American bald eagle was on the brink of extinction a few years ago but the efforts of United States Fish and Wildlife Service has ensured that their numbers have now increased. But sometimes the efforts put to save certain species are not enough and we may end up losing many species.
