Tourist Visa For Fiji
Americans do not require a visa to visit the Fiji Islands. They are allowed entry into the country for a minimum period of 4 months without a visa. However, they do need to fulfill some basic requirements in order to enter the island. A person visiting Fiji should have a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry on their passport. |
If you do not have the validity, then you need to apply for a renewal of passport before applying for the visa. However, you would need a visa only when you have to stay beyond the stipulated period of 4 months. In case you are staying beyond 4 months, you need to provide the following documents for a visa.
- A US passport with a validity of at least 6 months before entering the country. The passport should be further valid for 6 months from the date of entry into the country and this is mandatory. If a person does not have the validity, then they should get it renewed before they apply for the visa.
- A duly filled visa application has to be submitted along with the passport.
- Recent photographs depending on the application requirement have to be attached to the form. 3 photographs are the usual norm.
- The visitor should be able to establish their financial credibility during their stay in Fiji.
- The applicant should also have valid return ticket from Fiji to the United States for a future date.
